Norfolk Recreation Pre-School Classes start this week!
Are you two, three or four and looking for something to do while mom shops, or maybe you would like to make a new friend or two? Now that the cold weather is here, Practicing Pre-School, Sticky Fingers (18 mos. and up), Yoga Giggles and Wiggles, or Pre-School Science Fun might be just right for you. Are you younger? Check out the Music Rumble classes!
Practicing Pre-School - is a perennial favorite and a wonderful first drop off experience for 2 and 3 year olds. We offer it on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9:15-10:45 AM. This is a pre-school curriculum a bit shorter in duration and adjusted for the younger age. It is taught by two caring experienced pre-school teachers both with several years experience. Your child will love making crafts, enjoying stories, music and movement all while learning social skills. The Tuesday class starts 10/28 and the Wednesday class starts 10/29. Six weeks $99. A snack will be provided. If your child has allergies we ask
that you provide the snack.
Pre-School Science Fun will start November 3 and run for 6 weeks. The time is 10:15-11:45 AM. Projects will vary from week to week; all science and exploration based. 2 1/2 - 5+ years. $79/ 6 weeks. Please send a peanut free snack!
Sticky Fingers The 9:30 AM class is full so we have added another class at 10:30 on Fridays. Join us! Classes start on 10/31 and run for 6 weeks. $40 /session. This is a fun opportunity to get your Fingers Sticky while you and your child explore together. All the mess but none of the clean up at home. Please dress for mess!
Yoga Stretches, Giggles and Wiggles- Kids will have a wonderful time while they learn to stretch and balance and get their wiggles out! Each themed class will have plenty of poses and a quick craft that ties the theme together. Geared toward the 3-5 year old. $40 for six classes. 10/29 - 12/10.
For the very young we have music classes starting this Thursday - Baby and Toddler Music Rumble- The younger class at 9:15-9:45 is for 10 months to 2 years and for toddlers 2 -3 years class is from 10-10:35. Come Shake Rattle and Roll with your youngster. $40 for six classes.
