It's Time to Register for Norfolk Recreation Spring Classes!
Classes with openings starting the week of 4/28 for TODDLERS WITH AN ADULT include Sticky Fingers on Mondays ($35) from 9:15-10 AM or or Fridays ( $40) from 9:30-10:15 and 1,2,3 Get Ready for Preschool on Fridays from 10:30-11:30 AM, Parent and Tot Gymnastics at 9:15 AM- 9:55 AM on Tuesdays ($40/6wks), Little Kids Hike on Thursdays or Saturdays 11:20-12 Noon ($25/6wks), Toddler Music Rumble on Thursdays 10:00-10:35 Ages 1.5 -3 yrs. ($40/6weeks).
DROP OFF PRE-SCHOOL PROGRAMS with availability include Practicing Pre-School Tuesdays (only) 9:15-10:45 AM (6wks/$99). Jumping Gym Tuesdays 10-10:45 AM (6wks/$40), Lunch Bunch 3-4 yr olds 11 AM-1PM Wednesdays ($109/6 weeks), T-Ball for ages 3-5 Tuesdays (only 3 spots left) 9:30-10:30 or 10:30-11:30 AM (new time!). All pre-school programs are taught by experienced pre-school teachers with several years experience.
SCHOOL-AGE PROGRAMS include Friday Night Dodgeball for grades 3-6, 6:30-8:30 (5wks $75) and Flag Football Fridays 3:15-4:20 PM ($72/5weeks). We have added an afterschool Tennis time: Beginner to Advanced Beginner 6-8 year olds - 4 spots left for Tuesday 3:30-4:25 PM $45/ 5 weeks. Golf lessons at ForeKicks are available on Mondays for 8 weeks starting 4/21(will prorate for one week). Times are 4-4:55 PM for ages 4-8 ($145/8 wks), 5-5:55 PM for ages 8-15($145/8 wks) and 15yrs. through adult 6-6:55 PM ($195). Rental clubs available for a fee.
Here is some more information on Chicks with Sticks- our new field hockey program! This is a field hockey program run by the KPHS Varsity coach, Liz Hathaway, and her players.The dates are June 8, 15, 22, and 29. It is designed for entering grades 3 & 4 (time 3-4PM), 5 & 6 (4:15PM-5:15 PM), and 7, 8 & 9 (5:30-6:30 PM). The price is $55 and includes a field hockey stick, ball and t-shirt and a last day ice cream social. On the last day all ages come to play at 3-4:30. Ice cream social and skill demonstration by KPFH players from 4:30-5:30/6PM. All players must bring mouth guard, shin guards and water.
This program is designed for all three KP towns!
FOR ADULTS some choices include: Ladies Light Hike on Thursdays and Saturdays 9:45-11AM (6wks/$25), Happy Dogs Hike- for you and your buddy on Wednesdays at 10:30AM (6wks/$25), Strength Training and Pilates on Monday, Wednesdays or Fridays (9 wks/1X-wk/$54). We also have Ladies Club Tennis on Wednesdays and Thursdays; sign up with a partner for 6 weeks- $15/player.
SUMMER is around the corner! We have many summer programs available for many ages and programs are filling fast! Please register soon! Be sure to check out the new golf programs, robotics, animation, tennis, as well as the classic Fun in the Sun program for 4-6 yr. olds, Mini-Hawks and much, much more!
Is anyone interested in their son or daughter joining a USTA Junior Team Tennis League? We hope to team up with Wrentham and Plainville to form a tri-town town to participate in local league. We would play other teams from towns like Franklin and Dover. This is a 6-week summer program ending in a USTA tournament. We are located at in the Town Hall at 1 Liberty Lane Norfolk, MA 02056. The Norfolk town Hall is open from 9-6 Monday -Thursday and closed on Fridays.
