are now authorized to post details on Level 3 Sex Offenders on the Internet.
You must still come into the station for details on Level 2 Sex
Offenders.

Any
member of the public who is at least 18 years of age or older may request sex
offender information. The information will be provided to any person who
is seeking the information for his/her own protection or for the protection of
a child under their responsibility, care, or custody. A photo ID such as
a driver's license is required. You may obtain information regarding
Level 2 and 3 offenders (offender's name, home address, work address, age, sex,
height, weight, eye and hair color, the sex offences committed and the dates of
conviction and/or adjudication and, if available, a photo of the offender), by
coming to the Norfolk Police Station and filling out a request form.

will tell you how many level 2 and 3 sex offenders are registered in each city
or town, as well as descriptions of the different classification levels, can be
