1) meeting minutes – all meeting minutes have been completedand accepted by the EDC. To be posted on Norfolk website by Lori.
2) EDC website POC – discussed the EDC website presentation tothe BoS on 8/31/09. The BoS took under advisement a request for a Norfolk TownHall POC and phone number. To date there has not been communication on a decision.Mark stated he would contact Jim Lehan for an update.
3) EDC website - Both Greg Mirliss and Mark Nelson suggestedadding owner and real estate agent contact information to the website initiallyassisting developers with interest in available properties. This will bediscussed further at our next meeting.
4) Southwood website info – A meeting was scheduled fortonight with Bill Fleming, Caritas, and Bob Cummings, Meredith &Grew RE,representing the Southwood property. The meeting was canceled by Caritas. Markto follow up with Bill Fleming and reschedule.
5) Facilitate information distribution of availablecommercial/business properties – UPDATE 9/15/09 – to add properties to Masssitefinder requires membership and yearly dues. This information was passedalong to EDC members.
6) 43D Checklist/DRCC – There has not been an update since6/7/09 on whether the September DRCC meeting has been schedule to review the43D Checklist and Guide. Lori will contact Bob Bullock.
7)New Business – Mark would like to discuss any additionalstate/federal infrastructure funds available through stimulus funding or grantsthe town can take advantage of, how Norfolk might be eligible and who thecontact would be on either the state or federal levels.
8) Additional meeting dates will be discussed a the EDCmeeting on 9/29/09.
