Residents who experience rusty or dirty water should do the following:
1. Flush water piping using COLD WATER ONLY from a bath tub faucet for approximately 15 minutes, then all other cold water fixtures in the house for 5 minutes.
2. Check water before washing clothes.
3. Check water prior to running dish washer
4. Check water before using for cooking
5. If WHITE clothes become discolored, “Iron Out” is available at the local hardware store and at the DPW Office between the hours of 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our water users. We thank you for you patience and cooperation.
