MEMBERS PRESENT: Andrea Langhauser, Cyndi Andrade, Kevin Hughes, Betsy Pyne, Tom Terpstra, Richard Connors, Michele Thoener, Secretary

DPAP VOUCHER - LOTTERY WINNER
The recipient of the $20,000.00 Down Payment Assistance Grant was issued # 1 in the lottery and the number was pulled 8th out of 10.

HIGHLAND LAKE PROPERTY
Committee members discussed Highland Lake Property. They review to map again.
Andrea asked if the committee members would like to have the Town Engineer look over the land and give preliminary assessment of build ability. Cost $3,000.00 to $5,000.00. The Town Engineers will give an educated opinion on the best use of the land.
If the land is mostly ledge the cost to blast for roads would be extremely high
Richard would like to see property used as Open Space
Andrea feels it should be appraised based on highest and best use.
After reviewing map:
Cyndi questioned if the right away road can be widened
Richard questioned if there was enough space to put in a street to develop
Lake is approximately 16 acres
Land is approximately 41 acres total (including the Lake)
Andrea suggested that we review the deeds
Uses of Highland Lake Property:
Town swimming
Ice skating
Decision on Highland Lake Property needs to be made at the next CPC Meeting
Warrant Articles close on Feb 22, 2007
Andrea would like to do a lot of research on the Highland Lake Property - so that there aren’t any problems like those faced by the CPC during the purchase of the Weeber Property.
Kevin feels we need to have the Highland Lake Property on the Warrant Article
Letter needs to go to Dr. Weeber

*Andrea would like to rank property at the next meeting* (based on criteria already in place)
She would also like to research property through the Board of Selectmen, Board of Health, and Conservation Commission. Cyndi agreed to handle Con Com, Betsy will handle BOH and BOS
Kevin Hughes makes a motion to approve an appraisal of lots 18, 34, 35, and 51, presently owned by Dr. Weeber.
