Norfolk Public Library
Board of Library Trustees
A regular meeting of the Norfolk Library Board of Trustees was held on December 16, 2010 at the Norfolk Library. In attendance were Robin Glasser, Director, Sarina Bluhm, Associate Director, Cathy Elder, Chair, Friends of the Norfolk Library, and the following trustees: Harvey Boulay, Kenneth Nelson, and Dr. Kumkum Malik.
Mr. Nelson called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
Approval of Minutes
The minutes of the meeting in November were approved
Director’s Report: Mrs. Glasser reported on the following;
- Inventory is underway. Historically, Mrs. Glasser reported that there is a very low loss rate.
- The Library has received a donation of a color laser printer.
Associate Director’s Report
Mrs. Bluhm submitted statistics for usage of the Library. No significant changes from the last year at this time.
Friends Report
- Cathy Elder reported that the Annual Membership Drive would begin in January.
- Friends annual meeting and reception is slated for Saturday Feb. 14.
New Business
- The Library Directors contract was voted upon, retroactive to 7/1/10 through 6/30/15.
- Renewal of meeting room for the Providence Baptist Church through 6/30/2011 was discussed and approved.
The next regular meeting will be on January 20, 2011 at 6.00 pm.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:10 pm.
