ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
BUSINESS MINUTES
MARCH 17, 2004
PRESENT: Bruce Simpson, John Burke, Elissa Flynn-Poppey, Martin Murphy, Robert Garrity, Nancy Lancellotti
ABSENT: Lorraine Sweeney
The duly posted meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals convened at 7:35 p.m in room 105C at the Norfolk Town Hall. The first order of business was to sign vouchers for postage reimbursement, office supplies and legal advertising.
There were no Conservation Commission applications to review. There were no applications to preview for an April 21, 2004 hearing.
The Board adjourned the business meeting at 7:40 p.m in order to conduct the public hearings for Arthur Frontczak, Pine Creek Development (7:50 p.m.), Donald Crawford (7:55 p.m., Eastern Development/supermarket (8:50 p.m.), Eastern Development/drive up windows (9:55 p.m.) and Paul Borelli (10:10 p.m.).
After the public hearings, the Board voted to go into Executive Session. Mr. Simpson made the motion to go into Executive Session at 10:25 p.m. to discuss litigation strategy. Mr. Garrity seconded the motion. The vote on the motion was as follows:
Bruce Simpson - aye
John Burke – aye
Martin Murphy – aye
Robert Garrity – aye
Elissa Flynn-Poppey – aye
Mrs. Lancellotti recused herself and left the room.
The Board reconvened into open session at 11:20 p.m.
Mr. Murphy made the motion to close the business meeting at 11:20 p.m. Ms. Flynn-Poppey seconded the motion. The vote on the motion was unanimous.
