JULY 19, 2006
PRESENT: Michael Kulesza, Elissa Flynn- Poppey, Lorraine Sweeney, Bruce Simpson, Robert Garrity (7:45 p.m.), John Burke
ABSENT: Martin Murphy
The duly posted meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals convened at 7:30 p.m. in room 105C at the Norfolk Town Hall.
The members signed a voucher for a lateral file cabinet. The cost will be shared equally with the Conservation Commission.
Applications to preview:
Pine Creek Development – Mr. Simpson recused himself and left the table and stated that he is an abutter to an abutter. Mrs. Sweeney acted as the chairman pro tem. The members noted that the application is for a special permit for a roadway and wetland crossing within the Watershed Protection District. Mrs. Flynn-Poppey requested that the Board correspond with the Conservation Commission and request copies of their wetland consultant’s reports.
Mrs. Flynn-Poppey made the motion to accept the application for a special permit from Pine Creek Development and to schedule the public hearing for 7:45 p.m. on august 16, 2006. Mr. Kulesza seconded the motion. The vote on the motion was unanimous.
The members noted that there was a conservation commission filing for 53 Fruit Street. (Zhang). The locus is in violation of its special permit.
Correspondence to Gerard Colletta was sent out by the office. The resident requested a clarification of a previous decision from the Board on whether he could enclose an existing deck to make a screened porch.
The Board adjourned the business meeting to conduct the public hearings for Lance Reagan at 7:45 p.m., IBite at 7:50 p.m., and Jean and Douglas Burks at 8:15 p.m., and Little Pine Realty Trust at 8:30 p.m. The Board deliberated the comprehensive permit request of Norfolk Landing at 9:00 p.m., CEI Boston at 10:10 p.m. and Little Pine Realty at 10:20 p.m.
The deliberations and vote on the above hearings closed at 12:00 midnight. The Board did not reconvene back to the business meeting.
