The mission of the Norfolk Council on Aging is to serve as an advocate to ensure that the town’s seniors have the opportunity to live with independence, dignity and security.

The Council on Aging meets on the third Monday of every month except in August. They meet at the Senior Center at 9:30am.

Function
The Norfolk Council on Aging is a Town of Norfolk board organized under the Board of Selectmen's office to oversee services available to residents sixty years of age and over according to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Annotated Laws Chapter 40, Section 8B.
Purpose
To identify the needs of the community's elder population and available resources to meet such needs. To educate the community at large in the needs of the elderly.
Things to Know
The Council on Aging provides various information, as well as transportation to doctors, shopping, meal sites, etc.
They also put out a monthly newsletter informing the local population about upcoming activities.
