The Board of Selectmen announces openings on the following elected committees:
BOARD OF ASSESSORS – one (1) member
HOUSING AUTHORITY – one (1) member
PLANNING BOARD – one (1) member
Terms of these positions will be until the next annual election in May, 2009. We would hope that any resident interested in filling the unexpired term of these positions will also consider running for office in the May 2009 election.
Any resident interested in any of these positions may file a letter of interest with the Board of Selectmen, One Liberty Lane, Norfolk, MA 02056, or email Marian Harrington, Executive Assistant at harrington@virtualnorfolk.org.
Letters of Interest must be filed as soon as possible. The Board will fill these vacancies at a future Board of Selectmen’s meeting. This will be a joint appointment of the Board of Selectmen and Board members of the Board with the vacancy.
