GET INVOLVED - JOIN A TOWN COMMITTEE!

Have you ever thought about getting involved with your town government?  Did you know that many Town decisions are made through the work of citizen led boards and committees?  While they are supported by great staff, an important feature of local government in Massachusetts is that many decisions are resident driven.  We currently have openings for several positions for which we are seeking volunteers.  Prior experience may be helpful, but isn't required, just a willingness to serve and participate in meetings which are generally held in the evening.  The present openings include:

Council on Aging (1)
Planning Board Associate Member (1)
Town Government Study Committee (4)
Zoning Board of Appeals - Associate Members (1)

If you have questions or would like to be considered, please complete the attached volunteer application found HERE, or submit a resume and return it to Blythe Robinson, Town Administrator at brobinson@norfolk.ma.us.  We look forward to hearing from you!
